A little jewel with a big personality!

This enchanting antique crowned heart pendant features a beautifully cut, pear-shaped rose cut diamond, estimated at approximately 0.75ct, nestled beneath an exquisitely detailed 18ct gold crown.

The diamond sits in its Georgian silver setting, with an 18ct gold reverse, while the miniature crown is decorated with delicate white enamel, tiny red accents and two split pearl finials.

The crowned heart is a romantic symbol of love, loyalty and devotion, popular in jewellery from the 17th century onwards. Here, the beautifully pointed diamond forms a stylised heart beneath its miniature golden crown.

The diamond has wonderful life and sparkle, with the distinctive character of an antique rose cut. Some natural carbon inclusions are visible within the stone, but these do little to detract from its beautiful brilliance.

Originally part of an antique brooch, this charming little treasure has been thoughtfully converted into a pendant. A small section of the original 9ct gold brooch pin remains on the reverse, providing a flat, stable back when worn.

Petite but utterly captivating, it's a particularly special addition to any antique charm collection and looks gorgeous layered with other treasures.

The diamond contains some natural carbon inclusions, characteristic of many antique stones, which are visible upon close inspection.

Some minor surface wear to the enamel, as to be expected with age.

A small section of the original 9ct gold brooch pin remains on the reverse. We have deliberately retained this during the conversion, as it helps to stabilise the diamond setting and provides a flat back, allowing the pendant to sit comfortably when worn.
