This beautiful antique pin/pendant is a one-of-a-kind piece. The rich yellow gold pinhead is made from luxurious 18-carat gold, with an exquisite old-cut diamond set in the centre of a starburst. The stick pin tests as between 8/9-carat gold and unscrews from the pinhead, allowing the pinhead to be removed. This likely formed a set of stick pins that the original owner could switch between.
To maintain the authentic design, the removable pin has been preserved as part of the converted piece. The newly made pendant bail is handcrafted in solid 9-carat yellow gold and designed with a screw fitting that conforms perfectly to the stick pinhead. This allows you to wear the striking 18-carat gold and diamond starburst charm as a pendant or a stick pin.
