If you are looking for a high-carat wearable everyday chain to style with your favourite charms and pendants, this babe is the one for you!
Repurposed from a Victorian era long guard chain, the dog clip is part of the original piece and has wonderful stamps for 18ct gold, and the makers mark "WHW LD" which could possibly refer to the watch and chain maker WH Wilmot, a Birmingham maker established in 1860.
This piece is a glorious rich yellow-gold colour, with solid gold round links (not hollow) that are in a double formation, meaning that every 2 links are connected/soldered together, a very rare handcrafted antique design.
At the perfect length of 19 inches, you can choose to layer this wonderful chain with your other pieces or wear it on its own.
